Last month we saw a teaser trailer for The Predator. Now 20th Century Fox has released an official trailer for the movie.
Directed by Shane Black, who starred in the original Predator alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger back in 1987, this latest entry is described as a re-invention of the series and sees the deadly alien hunters arriving in a small suburban town.
You can read a synopsis for The Predator and check out the official trailer as well as a new poster below.
SYNOPSIS:
From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.
Black also penned the screenplay for the movie along with his Monster Squad collaborator Fred Dekker. The cast includes Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Jacob Tremblay, Yvonne Strahovski, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Jake Busey, and Augusto Aguilera.
The Predator is set to be released in theaters later this year on September 14th.
