Sleepy Hollow Teaser Banner

We have a quick teaser image for you today courtesy of BOOM! Studios. There’s nothing official yet, but looking at the image, it appears that BOOM! will be publishing a comic book series based on the FOX TV series Sleepy Hollow.

It’s pretty clear from the image, which you can see in full here below, that it’s the Headless Horseman, along with Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie). Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on who will be handling the writing or interior art for the series, or when it will be out.

RoboCop Detroit Tigers game

You have to love crazy cross promotion, and we got a good example of it when RoboCop came home to Detroit to throw out the first pitch at Tuesday’s baseball game between the Detroit Tigers and the Toronto Blue Jays at Comerica Park. This was of course done to promote the release of 2014’s RoboCop on Blu-Ray and DVD. Some fans at the stadium for this specially dubbed RoboCop Day received a commemorative RoboCop poster and the Blu-ray edition of the 2014 film.

Check out the video of the first pitch here below, along with some photos from the event.

Along with attending the game, RoboCop also took the time this week to visit other Detroit hotspots like The Monument to Joe Louis, The Spirit of Detroit, and 8 Mile, as well as some radio stations AND he even reportedly did the weather report on local Fox affiliate WJBK-TV.

The GoD List Banner

Each and every week, I, “The Xavier to my Magneto!” Henchman 21 and “The Magneto to my Xavier!” Empress Eve read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. Single issues and trades, they’re all here.

Oh boy, it’s another one of those all Image weeks, with the best publisher in comics dropping a bunch of awesome trades, a couple of great-looking new series, and one of the weirdest crossovers ever. And that’s not even counting new issues of The Fuse, Southern Bastards, Deadly Class, Skullkickers, and Sex. Why must they destroy my pocket book so? The better question is why am I complaining about awesome comics? Because I’m not. I love when I can buy awesome comics and I love when I can recommend awesome comics to others. So let’s get into the awesome list of awesomeness that is The GoD List!
