| Japanese Trailer and TV Spot For ‘Godzilla’ (2014) Features New Footage
Yesterday the highly anticipated trailer for the upcoming Godzilla was released and was received most favorably by fans everywhere (you can check out that trailer here). Now, the Japanese trailer and the television spot have been released via Toho and it is indeed a treat! Though the trailer is shorter than its American counterpart, there is a few seconds of additional footage that you’ll notice including a quick shot of co-star Ken Watanabe. Additionally, seeing the Toho logo at the very beginning of the trailer and hearing the announcer proclaim “Gojira” at the end certainly adds some gravitas to this already great teaser. Lead by their supervisor Dad, who coaches them via radio relay while threatening to be “disappointed” in them should they fail their mission, and the more ominous Grandparents, the orphans have their work cut out for them. As their first mission progresses, each of the six orphans utilize their specialized skill sets to get their assignments and tasks completed and work toward stopping the bomb. But when their location is discovered in the midst of deactivating the bomb, it is believed that one of the team members must have triggered an alarm. Now, all six team members must rally together or else let an entire stadium filled with spectators be blown to smithereens!

One of The Asylum’s top attractions, Mega Shark, is back for its third “versus” flick. Having previously tangled with Giant Octopus and locked jaws with Crocosaurus, the massive shark must now contend with a top-secret government creation Mecha Shark in hopes of stopping the beast once and for all. In anticipation of The Asylum’s Mega Shark vs Mecha Shark, which hits Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD on January 28, 2014, the studio has released a new trailer, which you can watch in full below. The movie, directed by Emile Edwin Smith, brings back Mega Shark star Debbie Gibson and also features Christopher Judge and Elisabeth Rohm.

| Future ‘Indiana Jones’ Movie Rights Move To Disney In Deal With Paramount
This week Walt Disney Studios and Paramount Pictures signed off on an agreement for the future of the Indiana Jones franchise. The deal will give Disney, who purchased Lucasfilm late last year and gave them access to the iconic archeologist, ownership rights to the characters and rights for marketing and distributing any future Indiana Jones films made. However, the deal also ensures that Paramount Pictures will retain distribution rights for the current four films from Raiders of the Lost Ark through Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and will give them a percentage of any financial profits made off of future Indiana Jones films.

| ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2’ Banner Poster Shows Electro, Rhino, Green Goblin
Last week you may have seen a fuzzy image floating around of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 banner poster that will soon be hitting theaters. This poster featured the previously announced villain Electro, a better look at how Rhino would be portrayed in the film, and what appeared to be someone floating on a glider alluding to the Green Goblin (or possibly Hobgoblin). Now, Sony Pictures has released an official and much higher resolution image of those posters via Twitter to scour over and scrutinize every detail including a better look at what does appear to be the new film version of Green Goblin, who up until now had only been rumored to make a possible cameo.
