| Telltale’s ‘The Walking Dead: Michonne’ Preview Coming |

After over a year since the last episode of Season 2 of The Walking Dead interactive drama series, Telltale is at it again with The Walking Dead: Michonne. The developer will be releasing the first part of the game later this month, but first a 5-minute preview will launch tonight. Starring award-winning actress Samira Wiley (know for her role as Poussey Washington in Orange is the New Black), the miniseries delves into the Robert Kirkman’s blade-wielding character’s haunted past, and explores Michonne’s absence between issues #126 and #139 of the comic book.

Retail Price: $19.99 At this year’s PAX Prime I spoke to Trent Kusters, the Art Director at League of Geeks, a company based out of Melbourne Australia who came up with the game Armello. Armello is a digital pattern board game with RPG and RTS elements. In it, you play as a “Hero” from one of the four animal clans: Rat, Rabbit, Bear, or Wolf. On every turn each player quests, schemes, fights, and explores across a procedurally generated board with the sole goal of becoming king or queen of the land of Armello. Armed with various types of cards (items, spells, and trickery), your mission becomes further empowered.

| PAX Prime 2015: castAR Interview |

At this year’s PAX Prime, I had the opportunity to chat with David Henkel-Wallace (CEO) and Rick Johnson (co-founder and Chief Software Engineer) of Technical Illusions about their new product, castAR. castAR is a “projected augmented reality system that displays holographic-like 3D projections right in front of you.” Throughout its inception Technical Illusions’ underlying goal has been to develop something that is fun, and after demoing it, I can tell you that that goal holds true.
