I only just received this advance copy of Dungeons & Dragons: Mythic Odysseys Of Theros and while I am not very knowledgeable about Magic: the Gathering, I do know a bit more than most about Dungeons & Dragons. From my perspective, this is a new world, a new setting. And regardless of the source material, it is a new role playing source book. But for those who play Magic, this may well something even more special.

Release Date: June 3, 2020 I must admit, I always enjoy stories with an origin feel to them. When one dies another is called. This newest release gives us a short story from the lives of three Slayers, but not all of them have happy endings. But then, that is not really news, now is it?

Putting the hell in Hellboy, in my opinion. But, be that as it may, this is one amazing one-shot comic. In true Dark Horse fashion, everything is a bit darker and twisted than what most other comic companies produce. And that, my friends, is why I love almost everything they produce!

What a huge year it was for D&D fans, as Wizards of the Coast had a mammoth amount of releases to celebrate the 45th year of Dungeons & Dragons in 2019. I think I managed to review most of these throughout the year with few exceptions. Here’s the 2019 Holiday Geek Gift Guide 2019: Dungeons & Dragons Edition.
