The first issue sums up how I felt every camping trip would end up. I always expected the undead to be a larger issue than it is. Perhaps I watched too many horror films as a kid?

Below you’ll find the solicitations information and cover artwork for all of Action Lab comic book titles that were released last week on June 1, 2016. Only two comics this week but Bolts #1 looks to be an interesting new one from Action Lab, it’s…different. Think futuristic storyline meets gothic character.

Sidenote: both of these comics are geared towards mature readers, folks. Keep the kiddos away from them, lots of blood and gore.

Last summer Warner Bros. temporarily banished their DC Comics superhero film project Justice League Dark to the bleakest depths of Development Hell following the departure of Hellboy and Pacific Rim director Guillermo del Toro. The project would have brought together the DC Universe’s strangest supernatural heroes including Swamp Thing, the Demon, Zatanna, and John Constantine, but was not intended to be part of the studio’s plans for an extended cinematic universe based on other popular DC characters.

Without del Toro at the helm, the feature looked as good as finished. But although Justice League Dark might never exist as a live-action film, it looks as if we will soon be seeing it in animated form.
