Gamescom 2018: Lovecraft Game ‘Call Of Cthulhu’ Gameplay Video
We’ve seen some trailers for Call of Cthulhu in the past. The game comes from developer Cyanide Studios, and is inspired by the work of H.P. Lovecraft and, more specifically, the pen-and-paper RPG of the same name made by Chaosium.
In Call of Cthulhu, you play as a man investigating mysterious deaths in a place called Darkwater Island in the 1920s. For Gamescom 2018 a new gameplay preview video was released by publisher Focus Home Interactive, which you can find below along with much more info on the game.

Gamescom 2018: DONTNOD’s ‘Life Is Strange 2’ and ‘Twin Mirror’ Trailers
For Gamescom 2018 week, Life is Strange and Vampyr developer DONTNOD Entertainment has released new trailer for two of their upcoming projects: Life is Strange 2 and Twin Mirror.
Life is Strange 2 is the five-episode sequel to their 2015 episodic graphic adventure. It follows a prequel to the original game released last year, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, and a free-to-play prequel to this sequel titled The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit which was released a couple of months back. Twin Mirror is a three-episode story-driven investigation game.

Gamescom 2018: 16-Minute ‘A Plague Tale: Innocence’ Gameplay Demo
I’ve never heard of A Plague Tale: Innocence from developer Asobo Studio, let alone seen anything from it. But it’s been in the works for a while now.
The game follows the journey of a brother and sister across 14th century France as the Black Death ravages the world around them. For Gamescom 2018, publisher Focus Home Interactive has shared a 16-minute gameplay demo to showcase how it looks. And it looks pretty darn good. Dark and depressing, but good nonetheless.

Gamescom 2018: Gameplay Walkthrough and Demo Trailer For ‘Transference’ From Elijah Wood’s SpectreVision
Back at E3 2017 we saw a trailer for a game called Transference. It comes from SpectreVision, a company co-founded by Elijah Wood which is known mainly for its film production (Cooties, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, The Boy), and Ubisoft. The game aims to blend the worlds of movies and video games into one experience, with both gameplay and live-action video. The cast includes Macon Blair, who starred in Blue Ruin, Green Room, and the upcoming Hold the Dark from director Jeremy Saulnier.
Another trailer was released for E3 2018 a couple of months back, and now a gameplay walkthrough video and demo trailer have been released for Gamescom 2018. You can find more info on the game, as well as both of those videos along with the E3 2018 trailer below if you missed it.

Gamescom 2018: Trailer For ‘The Dark Pictures Anthology’ From ‘Until Dawn’ Developer
The developer behind Until Dawn, Hidden Agenda, and The Inpatient, Supermassive Games, has announced a new project, The Dark Pictures Anthology.
The new game, like their recent releases, will be a cinematic experience. But this time it’s going to be a series of standalone stories instead of just one. It’s also been announced that the first episode of these new stories will be titled “Man of Medan,” and it will be released sometime in 2019.
