| Gamescom 2019: First Gameplay From ‘Predator: Hunting Ground’ Shared
During Gamescom 2019 this week the first gameplay from the upcoming Predator game Predator: Hunting Ground was shown. The game is basically the same idea as Friday the 13th: The Game, in which a bunch of players controlled characters trying to avoid being killed by Jason Voorhees, who was also controlled by a player. And this makes perfect sense, as the both games are developed by IllFonic. Here, four players will team up to try to kill the player-controlled Predator before it kills them. | Gamescom 2019: ‘Gears Of War 5’ Story and Horde Trailers
Believe it or not, the latest game in the Gears of War franchise, Gears 5, is being released in just a few short weeks. A bit of a shock, I know. Unless you’ve been anxiously anticipating and following the game, of course. For Gamescom 2019, some new trailers have been released. One looks at the game’s single-player campaign story, while the other looks at the Horde Mode. You can find both of those trailers below along with more info on the game and, as an added bonus, videos explaining the various multiplayer modes as well as a promo for the Halo: Reach character pack.

| Gamescom 2019: New Gameplay and Character Trailers For Hideo Kojima’s ‘Death Stranding’
To kick off Gamescom 2019 last night Geoff Keighley, the man behind the yearly Game Awards, hosted an opening night showcase. Closing out this showcase was the great Hideo Kojima, who was on hand to share some new trailers for Death Stranding, his highly anticipated first non-Metal Gear game as director since 1994’s Policenauts—not counting the P.T. demo for the Silent Hill game we’ll never get to play, sadly. Kojima shared three new character trailers for the game, found below, one of which includes new peeks at gameplay footage.

| Gamescom 2019: Marvel’s ‘Avengers’ 19-Minute A-Day Prologue Gameplay Video
During E3 2019 earlier this summer we saw an official trailer for Marvel’s Avengers, the next Marvel game following Spider-Man last year. That first trailer showed only fleeting glimpses of gameplay, sadly. But now we’re getting a really good look at the game—which comes from publisher Square Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal, Nixxes Software, and Crystal Northwest—in the form of a 19-minute A-Day prologue gameplay video.
