E3 2018: ‘Gears Of War 5’ Announce Trailers

During Microsoft’s E3 2018 briefing a bit of a troll was pulled when the familiar Gears of War symbol, a red skull inside a gear, appeared on the screen and excited the crowd. This excitement quickly died when Funko POP! versions of the characters showed up, and it was revealed that it was for a new mobile game titled Gears POP! instead of the highly anticipated next game in the series.
Thankfully they didn’t toy with the fans’ feelings for too long before it was announced that Gears of War 5, or simply Gears 5 as they’re apparently calling it, was indeed on the way. This was backed up with a pair of announce trailers, which you can find below along with more info on the game.

E3 2016: New ‘Gears Of War 4’ Gameplay Demo

Fans of the Gears of War franchise were treated to a new gameplay demo for Gears of War 4, which was first revealed at last year’s E3.
That first gameplay demo was nice and all, but this new one definitely takes things to another level, with more of the enemies you’ll be facing off against, some of the weapons you’ll be using to dispatch them with (including some brutal melee finishers, as fans would expect), and the terrifying world all of this is happening in.
You can check out the new Gears 4 gameplay demo below!

“Mad World” Trailer For ‘Gears Of War’ Ultimate Edition Released
|
 |

Before Epic Games’ wonderfully brutal Gears of War was released in 2006, becoming a smash hit and spawning two equally excellent sequels and a not quite as popular spinoff, it was a simple trailer that really caught the attention of gamers everywhere.
Considered to be one of the all-time best video game trailers ever, it was only a cinematic, featuring no gameplay, but it showed what looked like an intense science fiction adventure set to Gary Jules’ cover of the Tears For Fears song “Mad World.” And, as you might have figure out, it was the song that really stood out and made the game stick in viewers’ minds. The cover was actually recorded for the 2001 film Donnie Darko, but the usage in the Gears trailer saw it propelled to the number one spot on iTunes five years after it was made.
Now, with the upcoming release of Gears of War Ultimate Edition later this month fast approaching, a new trailer has been made smartly using “Mad World” once again to try to re-ignite some of that original excitement.
You can check out the new trailer below.
