Showtime has released a trailer for an upcoming documentary fans of October will be able to get behind.

The doc is titled Why Horror? and it simply follows the world of the horror genre and its many forms around the world, with insight from horror directors like John Carpenter, George A. Romero, Eli Roth, Twisted Twins Jen Soska and Sylvia Soska, and more, all led by horror fanatic Tal Zimerman.

I used to hear the saying “finders keepers” quite much when I was a kid. It was usually followed by “losers weepers.” You know the deal; a friend of yours finds something really cool lying around and gets excited about it as if were a glorious treasure, that is until you see it and realize that it actually belongs to you and you have been looking for it for what seems like the longest time. You tell your friend this, ask them if you can have it back, but unfortunately…

“Finders keepers, losers weepers!” The little creep’s mocking tone doesn’t help matters one bit. You hear that less as you mature into adulthood because that just isn’t the kind of thing grown-ups say to each other. At least you would think that. A new documentary aptly titled Finders Keepers begs to differ with an unusual but quintessentially American tale of two men, a barbecue grill, and the severed limb said grill happened to contain that they battled over in full view of the nation and its media that always becomes instantly enthralled by such insanity.

The first trailer for the upcoming Chris Farley documentary titled I Am Chris Farley has been released online.

The documentary was made using footage from Farley’s childhood, early performances, and his most familiar work, along with conversations with the comedian’s friends and family including David Spade, Christina Applegate, Dan Aykroyd, Lorne Michaels, Mike Myers, Adam Sandler, Molly Shannon, and many more.

A theatrical trailer has been released for the documentary/biography Listen to Me Marlon, a unique look into the private life of legendary actor Marlon Brando described as the “definitive Brando in his own words.”

The documentary is directed by Stevan Riley (Fire in Babylon, Everything or Nothing), who created it with the full support of the Brando estate using audio tapes of the actor from press interviews, therapy and hypnosis sessions, his own private recordings, and more.

Given how much news outlets and movie blogs covered the Sony hacking scandal, it isn’t entirely surprising that it will be the subject of a new documentary from Jehane Noujaim and Karim Amer, the duo who brought us The Square – Netflix’s Emmy winning documentary that centered on the political uprising in Egypt in 2011. The scandal exposed the inner workings of the studio leaking information on productions of films like Annie and Aloha, while also leaking that former Sony Pictures CEO Amy Pascal approached Marvel to share Spider-Man. The hack also revealed Pascal’s very embarrassing e-mails, some of which mocked President Obama.

According to a new report, the documentary won’t focus on the hacks on Sony entirely, instead it will be used as an example to show how cyberattacks have evolved throughout the years. More on the story below.
