Last year, I shared with you readers some of my favorite editions of Disney In Depth over the course of the past several years. But those selections only scratched the surface. I take pride in each piece I write, though some, of course, especially excite me. Let’s revisit some more editions that take us from Disney-related destinations across the country, to areas within our own lives and recollections.

Disney Editions has an exciting release schedule over the next six months. Honoring some of the coolest characters, themes, and elements of all things Disney, these six titles should be on your “Disney wish list” for a variety of reasons. Here is my preview of upcoming Disney Editions books!

This week Disney announced that Tom Staggs, chief operating officer of The Walt Disney Company, would be stepping down from his pivotal role. Disney sees major players change jobs within the organization all the time – sometimes even switching key positions entirely – but this exit is monumental.

Staggs had been viewed as the probable successor to CEO Bob Iger, to retire from the Mouse House’s top spot in 2018. What Staggs’ departure from Disney means for the company requires examination.

Following the showdown of live-action Disney films from the 2000s, we harken back to a separate decade with a different set of movies.
