| Legendary Cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond Has Died At 85
Vilmos Zsigmond, the legendary cinematographer who brought an unmistakable gift for gorgeous imagery to some of the greatest motion pictures ever made, died on January 1, 2016, according to Variety. He was 85 years old. Born in Hungary in 1930, Zsigmond left the country at the age of 26 along with fellow future cinematography great László Kovács (Ghostbusters). His early years in the U.S. were spent working as a still photographer and lab technician and filming exploitation features such as The Sadist, Psycho a Go-Go, and Five Bloody Graves.

| Legendary Motorhead Frontman Lemmy Kilmister Has Died
Lemmy Kilmister, one of the most iconic frontman in rock and the leader of the long-running band Motorhead, died today after a battle with cancer, according to a post on Motorhead’s official Facebook page. He was 70. For the past few years, the road warrior had a few health scares, causing Motorhead to cancel tour dates, and also assure fans that the big guy was still “alive and kicking.” While the rock and roll legend had suffered a haematoma a few years ago, he was reportedly diagnosed with cancer on December 26, 2015, just two days after his 70th birthday.
