On Halloween, the Vestron Video Collector’s Series unleashes the cult slasher flick Slaughter High for the first time on limited-edition Blu-ray. Written and directed by George Dugdale, Mark Ezra, and Peter Litten, the 1986 film follows a group of popular high school students who play a cruel April Fool’s Day prank on a classmate, resulting in a terrible accident.

A brand new month is approaching. And with this brand new month comes lots of new titles to Netflix’s library of streaming options.

A sequel to Resident Evil co-creator Shinji Mikami and his Tango Gameworks’ 2014 survival horror title, The Evil Within 2 was released recently. The game follows Sebastian Castellanos, who once again finds himself in a nightmarish world in an attempt to locate and save the daughter he thought he had lost.

I’m in an unusual position with this one, as I haven’t actually played The Evil Within…for reasons I’ll dive into a little later. But when the opportunity to review the sequel presented itself, I decided to give it a go simply to present a unique perspective to anyone out there who may be interested in playing despite having not played the first game. Plus, it is the right time of year. Suffice it to say, it was an interesting experience.

Another new trailer released by PlayStation for Paris Games Week 2017 is for the much-anticipated remake of Shadow of the Colossus.

The game was once thought to be another remaster, as was done on PS3. But instead it’s a remake of the classic original, which follows a boy searching a beautiful and massive open world for various Colossi, who he then must figure out how to fell in hopes of resurrecting the girl he brought to this mysterious ancient world to save.

Season 5 of Netflix’s political drama, House Of Cards, saw Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) assume the power of the President of the United States when Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) was forced to step down due to a political scandal.

Now it seems like the fantasy is becoming reality. In light of the sexual assault allegations against Spacey, House of Cards will come tumbling down after its sixth season.
