| Trailer For Hulu Sci-Fi Comedy ‘Future Man’ Released
An official trailer has been released for Future Man, a sci-fi comedy series coming soon to Hulu. The series is executive produced by the team behind Pineapple Express, Superbad, This Is the End, Sausage Party, and Preacher, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who also directed some of the show’s episodes. It follows The Hunger Games and The Kids Are All Right star Josh Hutcherson as a janitor and gamer who finds himself being recruited by time travelers from the future. The show basically looks like a big love letter to a bunch of different movies and perhaps a significant chunk of the ’80s, and it looks to be jam-packed with fun references. Continue below for more on Future Man and to check out the trailer.

| Hit Animated Series ‘Bob’s Burgers’ To Get Its Own Movie
If an animated TV series becomes successful, chances of it eventually getting its own movie are fairly high. We’ve seen it happen over and over again—sometimes as theatrical releases (South Park, The Simpsons) and sometimes as straight-to-video or TV movies (Family Guy, Futurama). And now it’s happening with FOX’s hit animated title Bob’s Burgers. A release date for the animated feature has also been reserved, but fans will have a little bit of waiting to do. The movie is scheduled for release on July 17, 2020.

Blade Runner 2049
Director: Denis Villeneuve
Screenwriter: Hampton Fancher, Michael Green
Cast: Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Dave Bautista, Jared Leto
Distributor: Warner Bros.
Rated R | 163 Minutes
Release Date: October 6, 2017 Blade Runner doesn’t have all the flashy substance that makes up what some would say is a traditional sci-fi film, but it sure does have all the nuances and subtleties that would make for a great sci-fi noir. Slow-burning detective stories still continue to unravel even in the distant future. You still have the stark monochromatic colors, a constant stream of pessimism, and a character that is drawn into the world of crime. You add a splash of sci-fi, that not only mixes well together, but proves that the elements can work in the right hands. Blade Runner 2049, Denis Villeneuve‘s strikingly visual follow-up, takes place 30 years after Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner. The filmmaker stays true to the themes explored by Scott’s adaptation of the Philip K. Dick book (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?), while also building upon the mystery and intrigue, as well as adding even more themes that will have audiences talking, even well after the film has ended. Check out the full review below.
