If you’ve been anxiously awaiting a look at how different the remastered version will look from the older games, a new video has been released offering just that. The video compares the oldest game in the collection, the original BioShock from 2007, to the remastered version.

BioShock: The Collection Remastered

While seeing new games announced and shown off is the biggest thing most gamers were looking forward to coming out of E3 2016, some were hoping to hear word of some remastered releases. Two of the big ones that jump to mind fans really want to see polished up and re-released are the Mass Effect trilogy and the BioShock trilogy.

Sadly, neither of those was announced during E3. We did, however, get a small new peek at the next Mass Effect game, Andromeda. And as for a new game in the BioShock series, while we do know 2K plans to make one eventually, we don’t know for sure if it’s even being worked on yet.

But never fear! It’s been a couple of weeks since E3 now, and 2K has officially announced BioShock: The Collection, the remastered re-release of the original game, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite along with DLC. You can read more about it and see a trailer below.

Evolve From Turtle Rock Studios

Once upon a time, a long-ish time ago, many exciting new video games were scheduled for release in 2014. Now, after delays, more delays, and even more delays, we have but a few to look forward to this year.

One of the more exciting games that was set for release this October was Evolve, the upcoming four-versus-one monster hunting multiplayer offering from Turtle Rock Studios. But sometimes more time is needed to ensure the best game possible, and that just happens to be happening often this year.

Publisher 2K Games has announced that Evolve has been delayed a few months, moving from October of this year to early 2015.

BioShock Big Daddy and Little Sister

Though it came as a shock when it was announced that BioShock and BioShock Infinite developer Irrational Games was closing, it was made clear right away that there would still be new games in the series coming eventually. When that might be was, and remains, unknown.

But while we still don’t know what the next BioShock game will be or when it will be arriving, 2K Games has begun teasing something in the form of an image shared via the Twitter. Whether it’s for a brand new entry in the main series, a smaller title on different platforms, a remastered re-release of one of the previous games on next-gen systems, or just a cruel tease? That’s all up in the air.

You can check out the image below and share your thoughts on what it might mean below.

BioShock Big Daddy and Little Sister

Earlier this week came the surprising news that BioShock and BioShock Infinite developer Irrational Games would be closing its doors soon, leaving the future of the franchise up in the air.

Considering that publisher 2K Games has already made a direct sequel to the original game in 2010, not to mention the fact that Irrational co-founder Ken Levine said they would be handing the reins to 2K now, it was assumed that they would almost certainly be making at least one more title in the series at some point. Now 2K has confirmed their intentions.

You can read what they said below.
