A24 has released a new trailer for the upcoming horror movie It Comes at Night, which is written and directed by Trey Edward Shults (Krisha) and stars Joel Edgerton, Riley Keough, Christopher Abbott, Carmen Ejogo, and Kelvin Harrison, Jr.

The movie is a post-apocalyptic horror, set after an unspecified event changes the world as we know it, and follows a family who take a young couple looking for shelter into their home out in the woods. But an unnatural danger now inhabits the world, and the looming threat of it puts their attempt to exist together to the test.

A24 has released an official trailer for A Ghost Story, an upcoming drama starring Academy Award nominee Rooney Mara and recent Oscar winner Casey Affleck.

The movie tells the story of a deceased man who returns as a ghost to comfort his wife. It’s directed by David Lowery, who previously directed Ain’t Them Bodies Saints (which also starred Mara and Affleck) and Disney’s live-action remake of Pete’s Dragons. Lowery is also set to take on another remake for Disney, Peter Pan.

Leave it to A24 to give us out of the box films. From last year’s The Witch and The Lobster, the production studio consistently gives audiences strangely entertaining movies. Come late August this year, they will continue that trend with the frightfully cold It Comes At Night.

A24 has released a new trailer for Robert Eggers‘ The Witch, which is being hailed as one of the most anticipated films of 2016. Set in 17th Century New England, a deeply religious mother and father believe that a dark force has descending on their plantation located deep within an ominous forest. Soon the heads of the family believe that their eldest daughter has become possessed by evil spirits, and start to accuse her of witchcraft. Something that she adamantly denies.

Based on the trailer, The Witch is a bit unconventional horror film that doesn’t rely on cheap jump scares, but rather a cold unnerving chill that will continue to build until the moment is right. Check out the latest trailer for film below.

A24 has released the first official trailer for Lenny Abrahamson‘s Room, starring Brie Larson as a mother who has been held captive with her 5-year-old son Jack (Jacob Tremblay). After years of being trapped in the 10’x10′ room Jack knew as the world, Ma devises a dangerous escape plan that will help free Jack. We already saw a teaser trailer that set the tone for the film earlier this summer.

There is no need to tell you how extraordinary of an actor Larson is. Having starred in 21 Jump Street, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, and my personal favorite (and seriously underwatched) Short Term 12, Larson’s latest role in Room is already getting some major high praise, and hopefully will make up for not getting some awards attention that Short Term 12 so rightfully deserved.
