A24 has released an official trailer for How to Talk to Girls at Parties, which is based on Neil Gaiman‘s short story of the same name.

The movie is directed by John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Shortbus), and tells the story of a boy falling in love with a girl in 1970s London. A simple story, really. Apart from the fact that this particular girl happens to actually be an alien from another world who’s visiting our planet. It stars Elle Fanning, Alex Sharp, Nicole Kidman, and Ruth Wilson.

A24, the company behind some of the best independent films like Moonlight, has released the first trailer for Under the Silver Lake.

Starring Andrew Garfield, the film is David Robert Mitchell‘s follow up to It Follows. But rather than give us another terrifying metaphor, we are treated to a quirky neo-noir flick that sees Garfield searching all over Los Angeles for a missing girl. Check out the latest trailer below.

There’s been whispers that The Disaster Artist, a movie about the making of Tommy Wiseau‘s infamous movie The Room starring James Franco as Wiseau, could be a contender for the upcoming Academy Awards. And as any fan of Wiseau’s movie will tell you, a movie about that movie winning a damn Oscar, well, that would just be magnificent.

But while we wait to see if the movie will score any nominations, A24 has gone ahead and created their own award. It’s called the Tommy Award, and you (yes, you!) can win it. All you have to do is re-create your favorite scene from The Room…in public…and share it online for the world to see. So I won’t be winning a Tommy Award, and that makes me sad. A24 has released a new trailer for the movie, which follows Bill Pullman as a man who witnesses the murder of his longtime partner and sets off on a quest to avenge him. Seriously, what in the world is going on that has all the characters so terrified in It Comes At Night. Whatever it is, A24 is doing a stellar job keeping audiences in the dark about it. Get it?
