| Neil Patrick Harris To Host Oscars
It’s just been announced that Gone Girl, How I Met Your Mother, and of course Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog star Neil Patrick Harris will be the host 87th Annual Academy Awards ceremony. Patrick Harris will take the reins from Ellen DeGeneres, who successfully hosted the previous Oscars. The next awards are set to be handed out at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on February 22, 2015. While his first time hosting, this of course isn’t his first time appearing at the Oscars. You can see a video of him performing at the 2010 awards below.

| 86th Annual Academy Awards Winners: Who Took Home An Oscar?
The 86th Annual Academy Awards ceremony has just ended, so it’s time to take a look at the full list of winners. The winner for the most Oscars tonight was Gravity, which took home a whopping 7 awards, including for Alfonso Cuaron, who won for Best Director. But it was the Brad Pitt-produced 12 Years A Slave that took home the big one — Best Picture. Surprisingly, American Hustle was completely shut out, as was The Wolf of Wall Street. We’re only hours away from the live broadcast of the 86th Annual Academy Awards! As we do every year, we’ll be live blogging the entire event starting from the pre-show red carpet arrivals starting at 7pm EST through the final Oscar acceptance for Best Picture.
