
Back in January, Tim Burton briefly spoke about the long-rumored sequel to his popular 1988 flick, Beetlejuice.
At the time, Burton only said how much he loved the original and how good star Michael Keaton was in it, and that he told Seth Grahame-Smith—author of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (as well as the screenplay for the Burton-produced adaptation), and writer of Burton’s latest directorial effort, Dark Shadows—to come up with some ideas for Beetlejuice 2 and he would look at the possibility of actually doing the movie from there.
Grahame-Smith has a whole hell of a lot going on right now and won’t have the chance to work on the script until later this year, but he did talk about the project recently and shared some minor-yet-promising details about where he may be aiming.
