| ‘Manos: The Hands Of Fate’: The Worst Film Ever Comes To Blu-ray This October
It was first reported in the last week of December 2011 that Manos: The Hands of Fate, long regarded as one of the worst films ever made (if not the worst), was undergoing a complete restoration for a future re-release on home video. For years, Manos has only been available through public domain VHS and DVD editions that contained degraded transfers. The inspiration for possibly the greatest episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 of all time, Manos is finally coming to Blu-ray from Synapse Films just in time for Halloween. | ‘Mad Max: Fury Road,’ ‘Mad Max Anthology’ Box Set Coming To Blu-ray In September
George Miller‘s long-overdue (as in three decades overdue) post-apocalyptic adventure sequel Mad Max: Fury Road is one of the best movies of the summer, if not the year (read Adam Frazier’s review here). After raking in over $360 million in grosses at the global box office, the relentless chase thriller starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron is coming to home video in less than two months from now. On September 1, 2015, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release Fury Road is separate 2D Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and DVD editions. DVD copies will also be included with both Blu-ray sets, and all editions will come with bonus Ultraviolent download codes.
