| ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Blu-ray Release Date, Details Officially Announced
After weeks of speculation regarding its inevitable home video bow, Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Home Entertainment have officially announced that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be coming to Blu-ray and DVD next month. In addition to a full list of special features we can expect, cover art for the individual editions were also unveiled today. There will also be some retailer exclusive editions featuring extra bonus content and special packaging. In honor of the 40th anniversary of the cult classic comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is releasing an updated Blu-ray of the film that has become a source for many a hilarious quote for film and comedy geeks around the world. The Blu-ray will include an extensive selection of bonus features, most of which have appeared before on previous DVD and Blu-ray editions. Exclusive to the 40th Anniversary Edition will be a filmmakers’ Q&A from the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival and an assemblage of newly discovered unused animated sequences created by Holy Grail‘s co-director, the legendary Terry Gilliam. Those sequences have made their way online through the official Monty Python YouTube channel. You can check them out here below; it’s enlightening and humorous to hear the man who would one day bless the world of cinema with Brazil, The Fisher King, and Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas explain the reasons for their deletion.

| ‘Army Of Darkness’: Scream Factory Details Its Forthcoming 3-Disc Blu-ray Release
Load up your boomstick and oil up that chainsaw. This Halloween is going to be one for the ages as far as fans of the Evil Dead movies are concerned. The 10-episode series Ash Vs. Evil Dead is set to premiere on Starz on Halloween night – watch the amazing and bloody Comic-Con trailer here – and four days before the show’s big premiere marks the release of Scream Factory’s long-awaited release of Army of Darkness on Blu-ray. Scream, the horror and sci-fi subsidiary of Shout! Factory, has been working on the Army Blu for quite some time. Today they have unveiled the final list of special features.
