Last week’s 2nd season premiere of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow began as all things should… with Stephen Amell. Sigh… Nick Zano‘s Dr. Nate Haywood, historian, completed the handsome party, when he went to Oliver Queen for help in finding the legends. Apparently, the Waverider was destroyed by a nuclear bomb. They find the ship, but only Mick (Dominic Purcell) aboard in stasis. Mick told them the story of the last mission. Damian Darhk did it. So happy that Neal McDonough is back! Darhk was working with the Nazis and set it off. Rip ended up scattering the crew and leaving Mick in suspension.

Turns out the Waverider crew were not complete bumbling idiots after all… the Time Masters had been manipulating them the entire time, in order to help Savage (Casper Crump) take over. If he doesn’t… the worse threat of aliens will win. The team defeated the Time Masters, after Snart (Wentworth Miller) sacrificed himself, after getting a goodbye kiss from Sarah (Caity Lotz). Savage escaped with Kendra and Carter (Ciara Renee and Falk Hentschel) as prisoners.

They captured him again and brought him to the Time Masters… who released him and arrested the heroes, except for Sarah (Caity Lotz) and Snart (Wentworth Miller) who got away, and Jax (Franz Drameh), who had been sent back to 2016 to stop his aging process, caused by a blast of radiation.
