| New ‘Game Of Thrones’ Video Game Preview Goes ‘Behind The Wall’
For those who aren’t aware, a video game set in author George R.R. Martin‘s “A Song of Ice and Fire” world of Westeros has been in the making for a long, long time now. In fact, when development on the game began, the hit HBO TV series was merely a rumor. Luckily for those just learning of this news, you won’t have to wait long to get your hands on the game, which is of course titled Game of Thrones. It hits stores this Tuesday, May 15th, and with it comes (hopefully) an RPG experience allowing fans to walk and thrive in the world they love so very much, whether through reading Martin’s books, watching the show, or both. Many videos have been released so far (and can be seen here at Geeks of Doom), including a new video called “Behind the Wall,” where developers from Cyanide Studios talk about what went into making the game what it is. You can see the video below!

| New ‘Game Of Thrones’ Video Game Trailer Released
Atlus PR and Focus Home Interactive have released a new trailer for the upcoming Game of Thrones video game being developed by Cyanide Studios. The trailer, titled “This Is War,” joins a group of trailers that have been released for the game, including the two we saw back in December. We’ve remained cautiously optimistic about the RPG, and though it doesn’t look like it will be winning any Game of the Year awards, it does still look like it could be fun for fans of George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” book series and the HBO series. In addition to the new trailer, a combat gameplay video was also recently released. You can check out both videos below now.

| Pre-Order ‘Game Of Thrones’ Video Game, Get A Hardcover Concept Art Book
Whether the upcoming video game based on author George R.R. Martin‘s “A Song of Ice and Fire” book series and the HBO series of the same name, Game of Thrones, will end up being good or not is to be determined. We’ve seen some promising gameplay videos, but not a whole lot else is known about it, and it’s hard to know what to expect when the game is released on May 15 of this year. Despite the fact that the game itself is still up in the air, a new deal is being offered that will surely lure a few buyers in early. If you pre-order Game of Thrones on either Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or PC (link not yet available), you will get a free hardbound concept art book titled Game of Thrones: Visuals From the RPG.

| Two Promising Gameplay Trailers From The ‘Game Of Thrones’ RPG Released
Back in October we first heard about a “Mass Effect-style” Game of Thrones RPG in the works that was based on author George R.R. Martin‘s A Song of Ice and Fire book series. Now the first two gameplay trailers for the game have been released, and it’s looking pretty promising! The game has been made along with Martin, and will follow a storyline that weaves itself into the existing mythology. Mors Westfold, a member of the Night’s Watch on the Wall, and a Red Priest named Alester Sarwyck will act as the two original main characters of the game, but players will also encounter many of the popular (and not so popular) names and faces from the books and TV series as well. You can check out the two trailers for the Game of Thrones RPG by continuing below.

| ‘Mass Effect’-Style ‘Game Of Thrones’ RPG Video Game On The Way |
Author George R.R. Martin‘s wildly popular A Song of Ice and Fire book series has had fans whisking themselves off to the lands of Westeros for many years now. And with the booming first–season success of HBO’s adaptation of the book, Game of Thrones, people haven’t been this excited about this particular brand of fantasy in a long, long time. But what if I told you we could soon take that geekdom for the world and its characters a step further? As you may have heard, a video game company called Cyanide Studio has been working on a real–time strategy game based on Martin’s mythology titled Game of Thrones: Genesis. What you may not have heard, however, is that the studio is also working on a Game of Thrones role–playing game along the same lines as Mass Effect and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for the PC and next–generation consoles…and that, my dear friends, is something to be very excited about.
