| HBO Considering ‘Deadwood’ Movie |

There’s many shows out there that were canceled way too soon and continued to develop a passionate fanbase long after the network gave up on them (*cough*Firefly*cough*). Even the mighty HBO has been guilty of this from time to time, such as with Rome and the western Deadwood. Though to be fair, apart from a few titles such as The Sopranos, more mature premium channel TV shows like that weren’t nearly as big back then as they are now. If Game of Thrones came out back in 2004, who knows, maybe it would have only lasted a couple of seasons. The very idea is enough to make you nauseous. But it looks like one of these shows could see new life. HBO already brought Entourage—which had a healthy eight-season run as a show—back for its own feature film, and now they’re considering giving Deadwood a movie as well. Pondering, really, in a quiet, elaborately decorated room. Outstanding curtains. Whilst sipping a cup of tea. OK so that last part may not be entirely true, but they are thinking about it.

| What’s On Hank and Marie’s Bookshelf On ‘Breaking Bad’? (Photo) |

On Breaking Bad, the White house where Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and his family reside isn’t very decorative. The inside is quite plain, having an almost 1970’s vibe to it with its shag carpet and dark wood paneling, while in contrast Hank (Dean Norris) and Marie (Betsy Brandt) Schrader’s home is brighter and decorated with lots of purple, obviously Marie’s favorite color. Also, while Walt is the scholar among them, having been a chemistry teacher and scientist before becoming a meth-cooking drug lord, his home isn’t filled in books, yet Hank and Marie’s living room has a massive bookcase brimming with various titles. We’ve seen this bookcase over and over again through the five seasons of the AMC series, but in last night’s episode titled “Rabid Dog,” we finally got a good glimpse of the items on the Schrader bookshelves. One of the items prominently stacked among the many books was the complete series DVD box set for HBO’s Deadwood. Off to the left side were also several Stephen King books, including Four Past Midnight. Check out a photo here below (minor spoiler) of the bookcase and see if you can figure out what titles are there; you can also watch the “Inside the Episode” video here below, which includes the bookcase scene. Note, both the photo and video contains SPOILERS for the episode if you haven’t seen it.
