‘DOOM Eternal’ Release Date Pushed Back To 2020

The sequel to 2016’s DOOM reboot, titled DOOM Eternal, was originally set to be released next month.
But unfortunately publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer id Software have decided to push the game’s launch from its original November date back a few months into 2020. A statement from id was released to make the announcement, and you can read it below.

Gamescom 2019: ‘DOOM Eternal’ Video Introduces New Enemy The Hunter

For Gamescom 2019 this week Bethesda released a new video for DOOM Eternal, developer id Software’s follow-up to their 2016 reboot of the demon-blasting first-person shooter series.
The video introduces a new enemy the Slayer will come face to face with in the game, called the Hunter. You can find lots more info on the game and size up this new foe in the video below.

E3 2019: ‘DOOM Eternal’ Story Trailer and “Battlemode” Multiplayer Teaser

I’m always a little bit behind during E3 week, but thanks to a major internet malfunction I lost most of yesterday. But hey, what can you do. Get back to it as soon as possible and try to catch up. Right then…where were we?
Another game Bethesda showed off for E3 2019 was DOOM Eternal, developer id Software’s sequel to the 2016 reboot of the hit demon-slaying first-person shooter franchise. For the convention, Bethesda shared a new story trailer and a multiplayer teaser for the game’s “Battlemode.”

Video: First Look At ‘DOOM Eternal’ Gameplay Action

During the madness of E3 2018 a new game in the DOOM series titled DOOM Eternal was revealed with a brief teaser video.

E3 2018: New ‘DOOM’ Game ‘Eternal’ Announced

During a jam-packed Bethesda showcase at E3 2018, which including new gameplay and details on Fallout 76 as well as announcement teasers for Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI, a new game in the DOOM series was also unveiled.
The new game, titled DOOM Eternal, is a sequel to the 2016 reboot of the franchise from developer id Software, and promises loads more demons, an all-new soundtrack to slaughter them to, and a literal Hell on Earth.

E3 2017: ‘Fallout 4 VR’ and ‘DOOM VFR’ Trailers

Bethesda has said in the past that their post-apocalyptic sequel Fallout 4 would be coming to virtual reality. During their E3 2017 showcase, we got an idea of what this will look like.

The return of DOOM arrived a little over a week ago with the release of the latest installment in the hit first-person shooter series, a reboot of the franchise from original developer id Software.
I’m in an interesting position reviewing this one, as I’ve never actually played any of the DOOM games before. No, I can’t believe it either! My first-person shooter experience in the ’90s was with another id Software title (and another series now published by Bethesda), Wolfenstein 3D. But after seeing trailers and gameplay, I was excited to dive into the madness.

Must See: 8-Foot ‘DOOM’ Revenant Sculpture Made With Chainsaws (Video)

The long-awaited return of the DOOM game franchise has arrived (stay tuned for our review), and no demon is safe.
To celebrate the release of the game, an eight-foot-tall sculpture of one of the game’s Revenant enemies carved from wood—using chainsaws, fittingly—was commissioned. It’s a quite impressive, and slightly intimidating, piece of work.

‘DOOM’ Open Beta Details Announced

Publisher Bethesda Softworks has announced details for an open beta for DOOM, the reboot of the legendary first-person shooter franchise developed by id Software and releasing next month.
The details include when the beta, which will be available to players on Xbox One, PC, and PS4, will begin and end, and can be found below. Also found below is details on some free content and paid multiplayer DLC packs that will be available after the game’s launch.
