Glee
Season 6 Episode 5: “The Hurt Locker, Part Two”
Directed by Barbara Brown
Written by Ian Brennan
Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan
Starring Lea Michelle, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison, Dot Jones, Amber Riley, and Chord Overstreet
FOX
Air Date: Friday, January 30, 2015, 9:00pm Last week’s Glee 6.4 “The Hurt Locker, Part One“ (spoilers!) explored the crazier side of Sue (Jane Lynch). The crazy we know – her irrational hatred of all things Glee. The crazy we didn’t know – her obsession with “Blurt” (Chris Colfer & Darren Criss), complete with shrine. It’s kind of uncomfortable. However, the songs were fabulously sung and performed as usual. My new obsession is that Vocal Adrenaline singer that looks like a 70s greaser and sings like Dennis DeYoung. Glee 6.5 “The Hurt Locker, Part 2“ picks up at the exact spot last week’s episode ends, at the end of the Vocal Adrenaline “Whip It” performance, where Sue announces that she will be judging the Invitationals to Will Schuester’s (Matthew Morrison) dismay.

Season 6 Episode 4: “The Hurt Locker, Part One”
Created & Written by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan
Starring Lea Michelle, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison, Dot Jones, Amber Riley, and Chord Overstreet
FOX
Air Date: Friday, January 23, 2015, 9:00pm The Gleek-down continues with Glee Season 6 episode 4 of the final 13, “The Hurt Locker, Part One,” which delves a little more deeply into the insanity that is Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch). This Sue-centric episode explores her hatred of the glee club, and of her also surprising fandom of “Klaine” (Chris Colfer & Darren Criss). She vows to get them back together by any means possible. The lengths she goes to in this episode are hilarious. I think I will miss her the most.

| Fox Wants ‘Glee’ Creator To Direct ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ Remake |
|
It looks like Fox 2000 is moving forward with their plans for a remake of the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and they want Glee creator Ryan Murphy to helm it. Nothing has been signed yet, but apparently the studio is “courting” Murphy, and he’s met with the studio regarding the project. The studio’s interest in Murphy should be no surprise, as he’s just completed a Halloween-theme episode of the Fox television series Glee in which the gang does a performance of Rocky Horror, the long-running horror-scifi musical celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. The episode airs on October 26, 2010 and promises to be quite good. It was announced back in July 2008 that Fox and MTV productions were planning a remake of the highly successful 1975 film, and would be using the original screenplay, written by Richard O’Brien and Jim Sharman, as a guide and possibly include music not featured in the original (Read MTV To Remake “˜The Rocky Horror Picture Show’). Since then, there’s been little word on the project and it was even rumored last year that MTV had shelved it.
