The t-shirt deal of the day over at RIPT Apparel is the Harry Potter-inspired shirt called “Death Is But The Next Adventure.”

The tee, by artist midgerock, went on sale at RIPT today, Thursday, February 24, 2011, at midnight CST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site anymore.

The design features the character of Harry Potter, complete with glasses and lightning bolt scar, as a skull, with the words “death is but the next great adventure,” which is a quote from one of the Harry Potter books. The colors of the shirt are classic Gryffindor.

Warner Home Video has announced the details and release date information for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1, which is getting a DVD and a 3-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack.

The DVD and a 3-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack will be available starting April 15, 2011, and you can see the Blu-ray edition cover art here below. Pre-order has not been launched at this time.

The Blu-ray edition will have tons of bonus features, including an exclusive sneak peek at the opening from the eighth and final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

The $9 t-shirt deal of the day over at Teefury today is a design called “Coexist” by artist Captain RibMan.

The sale at Teefury began at midnight EST (Tuesday, February 1, 2011) and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it’s gone from the site for good.

The design is the ultimate for a sci-fi/fantasy geek, as it combines several popular icons for properties like Doctor Who, Star Wars, The X-Files, Lord Of The Rings into the word “coexist.”

This summer will see the close of the Harry Potter film franchise with the eighth and final movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and word comes now that there will be a major change being made from the book.

There have been several changes from the books to the films, but all with Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling‘s approval, and this time around, the author has apparently given the thumbs up for this upcoming revision.

Universal Orlando Resort announced that the one-millionth Butterbeer was sold today at The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter, the Harry Potter-themed area of Universal’s Islands Of Adventure theme park.

In honor of this event, 1,000 complimentary mugs of Butterbeer were handed out to guests at the Florida theme park today.

Butterbeer is the frothy beverage imbibed by the young wizards in the Harry Potter series. The Butterbeer sold at The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter is a sweet-tasting non-alcoholic version created from a “secret recipe” approved by Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling. The taste is said to be like shortbread and butterscotch, and the drink, which is sold at four locations within Wizarding World, is served cold or frozen.
