The 2010 Scream Awards have come and gone, and as always some cool new world exclusive trailers were presented. We’ll share them all with you here, and this will begin with the new trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1.

The new trailer is more of another teaser than anything, and doesn’t show a whole lot of new goodies in terms of visuals. Nevertheless, it is a Harry Potter trailer, and you know we the geeks just can’t get enough of those!

You can check out the new trailer for Deathly Hallows by making your way over to the other side. Also, make sure not to miss our recap of the best moments from the awards by checking out 5 Awesome Moments From Spike TV’s Scream 2010 Awards right now!

‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows’ Part 1 Will NOT Be In 3D

You know 3D has gone way too far when you stop reporting about a movie getting that extra dimension, and start reporting about a movie who isn’t going to be in 3D. Crazy world we live in, folks.

Warner Brothers has announced that even though they’ve put much effort into getting Part 1 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows converted to 3D in post production, they just don’t have the time to pull it off. The studio had plans to do all of the 3D work in post — a process that has led to very bad results for other films who have attempted it — and still has plans to do it for the second part of their epic two-part finale, but the quality they were seeking was just not possible before the scheduled November 19 release date.

Great New ‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows’ Part 1 Trailer Unleashed
space
The Movie God   |  @   |

Warner Brothers has released a brand new trailer for Part 1 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and it’s pretty fantastic.

The studio has been doing a great job of marketing this movie, and that finality of it being the final chapter of a decade-long journey is thriving. You get a real The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King vibe, and that’s exactly what you’re looking for in a movie like this; you want to be wholly excited while undeniably depressed that such a wonderful story is coming to a close. Creating a franchise good enough to find this longevity (did we really think that they’d pull off all seven movies, let alone add an eighth WITH almost all of the cast well-intact?) and create such a scenario does not come easy, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Wave your magic wand of choice, and whisk yourself away to the bottom to check out the trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 right now!

‘Battlestar Galactica’ Creator Ronald D. Moore To Bring ‘Harry Potter’ Fantasy To NBC

One of the biggest names in science fiction entertainment today is without doubt Ronald D. Moore.

Along with David Eick, Moore created one of the greatest TV shows of all time in the brilliant reinvention of Battlestar Galactica. Aside from that series radiating from his resume, Moore got his start in the realms of Star Trek, writing and producing on The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine, and working on the screenplays for movies Generations and First Contact. But now Moore is ready to jump into a new type of show: fantasy.

It’s being reported that Moore has a new project lining up at NBC Universal that’s a fantasy drama being compared to an adult Harry Potter. Instead of all of the elements of a science fiction, this time around we’ll be seeing a lot of magic in the show, which is through Sony TV.
