| Geek Peek: First Image From Disney’s Live-Action ‘Cinderella’
Walt Disney Pictures has announced that principle production has begun on Cinderella, a live-action feature take on the classic fairy tale story being directed by Kenneth Branagh (Thor, Jack Ryan). Disney previously turned the fairy tale in a beloved animated feature back in 1950. In celebration of the start of filming, a first image has been released showing star Lily James (Downton Abbey, Wrath of the Titans) as the titular character. | Disney In Depth: Why ‘The Lone Ranger’ Is Not A Train Wreck
Saddle up! The Lone Ranger is not the train wreck you have expected. What a ringing endorsement, right? Surprisingly enough I went into this bombastic action-adventure with high hopes, despite knowing how critics tore apart Johnny Depp‘s latest vehicle, and I was not disappointed. I am against the general consensus. I guess I could be considered “The Lone Positive Reviewer,” or at least one of the few.
