| Watch Now: ‘Hitman: Absolution’ Contracts Mode Lets You Choose The Targets
We’ve seen plenty of great previews of the upcoming IO Interactive and Square Enix title Hitman: Absolution, but, as it turns out, the game will offer a lot more than just a great single-player campaign for fans of the series. Absolution will also have online gameplay options, but not the kind you’re used to. You won’t be jumping into a map with 14 other Agent 47s running around trying to kill each other. | Yet Another Great ‘Hitman: Absolution’ Trailer Released
Another new trailer has been released for the upcoming Hitman: Absolution, and just like pretty much every video we’ve seen, it’s phenomenal. The new trailer is called “Tools of the Trade,” and it takes a peek at the unbelievable amount of weapons Agent 47 will be able to use to get his mission completed. The word “weapons” being used loosely, as it includes everything from real weapons to regular everyday items being used maliciously. This one’s all about showing off your choice to play through as a silent assassin…or as a psychotic, remorseless killer. | Original Voice Of Agent 47 David Bateson Confirmed For ‘Hitman: Absolution’
For some reason earlier in production, developer IO Interactive had decided that they were not going to use actor David Bateson to voice the role of Agent 47 in the upcoming fifth game in the franchise, Hitman: Absolution. Bateson had voiced the main character since the series’ first game back in 2000. Now comes word that, after a lengthy search for a new voice actor, that developer IO Interactive has ultimately decided to go back to Bateson for the job. In addition to Bateson, William Mapother (LOST) has handled the motion capture performance of 47.

| Square Enix Bringing ‘Hitman: Absolution,’ ‘Tomb Raider’ & More To Comic-ConGaming giant Square Enix is bringing a video game party to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, which gets started later this week. The company has a pile of new titles they’re excited to show off, including two of the most anticipated upcoming games in Hitman: Absolution and Tomb Raider, which will be made available for hands-on demonstrations, the first time people will get the chance to try the games out for themselves. | E3 2012: New ‘Hitman: Absolution’ Trailer & Gameplay Demo Are Here
We’ve already seen one brain-‘splodin’ first gameplay demonstration for the much anticipated fifth installment in the Hitman franchise, titled Hitman: Absolution. But why stop there? The more the merrier, as they say! Developer IO Interactive and publisher Square Enix brought with them an excellent new demo from another part of the game, as well as a shiny new cinematic trailer where a group of sexy nuns are out to end Agent 47. This is one of my top most exciting titles, and I really just can’t wait to get my hands and eyes on it. Check out the new trailer and gameplay demo for Hitman: Absolution below now!
