| Rumor: WB Circling Robert Zemeckis To Direct ‘The Flash’ Movie
Warner Bros.’ big-screen adaptation of The Flash has seen better days. The standalone feature for the Scarlet Speedester lost two directors over creative differences in one year alone, and will undoubtedly miss its March 16, 2018, release date. Still, the studio firmly believes that the film deserves a theatrical debut. Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword starring Charlie Hunnam as the legendary King Arthur. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the film centers on the title character’s rise to become the rightful king and overthrow the villainous Vortigern (Jude Law) who rules with an iron fist. | Warner Bros. Orders ‘The Flash’ Movie Script Overhaul
Ever since Warner Bros. shifted the schedules for their DCEU slate, things for The Flash starring Ezra Miller did not look good. Things got progressively worse for the film as Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies author Seth Grahame-Smith and Dope director Rick Famuyiwa left the project over creative differences. With the film unable to make its rumored January start date, the studio has been forced to do an overhaul of the script with Joby Harold doing the rewrites. More on the story below.

| ‘Rogue One’ Star Ben Mendelsohn In Talks To Play Sheriff Of Nottingham In ‘Robin Hood: Origins’
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is out in theaters everywhere this week (read our review here), and in it Ben Mendelsohn plays the villainous Orson Krennic. Mendelsohn is pretty darn good at taking on the role of a villain, and he continues to capitalize on that talent. It’s being reported that the Australian actor is currently in negotiations to play the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood: Origins, Lionsgate’s upcoming new take on the classic tale.
