Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi is keeping himself quite busy as of late. Not only is he working behind the camera, but he also appears in a few starring roles. This year, he’s got Jojo Rabbit, a historical satire that sees him playing Adolf Hitler. And it was assumed that he would get right into Thor: Love and Thunder after that. But that isn’t the case.

New reports say that he’ll be directing another title just before he dives back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And other reports say that this project is sports-related. More on all of this below.

Recently Netflix acquired Mowgli (previously titled Jungle Book: Origins), a new adaptation of The Jungle Book directed by Andy Serkis, from Warner Brothers.

Now another Serkis project has been set up at Netflix. The streaming giant has acquired the rights to author George Orwell‘s 1945 allegorical novella Animal Farm, and Serkis will direct the adaptation.
