| ‘Jurassic World’ Short Film ‘Battle At Big Rock’ Pits Man Against Dinosaur
It will still be another year and a half before a new Jurassic World sequel hits theaters, and many are curious to see the state of that world now that dinosaurs are roaming free after they broke out at the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. So director Colin Trevorrow and Jurassic World 3 co-writer Emily Carmichael came up with Battle Of Big Rock, a film short that shows how the people have adapted to co-existing with those giant beasts. The short recently aired after a broadcast showing of Jurassic World on FX. But just in case you missed it, Universal Pictures has put it up online for all you (and many other Jurassic Park and Jurassic World fans) to see. Check out there film short here below.

| Colin Trevorrow Talks ‘Battle At Big Rock’ and How It Ties Into ‘Jurassic World’
The Jurassic World fanbase was all shook up when Colin Trevorrow announced that he shot a short film that would be tied to the films called Battle at Big Rock and that it would air on FX this week. It came as a huge surprise to many of us, especially since it was a production that virtually went unnoticed. The short takes place a year after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Not that dinosaurs haven’t been running wild in civilized areas before, but now things have definitely changed. And the short will attempt to address how much this world has changed when a family, who are vacationing at Big Rock National Park, confronts these dinosaurs. Now before Battle at Big Rock makes its debut on FX, Trevorrow has shared a little bit about the upcoming short and how it will tie into the larger Jurassic World universe. | ‘Jurassic World’ Animated Series ‘Camp Cretaceous’ On The Way
A new animated series titled Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous has been announced by DreamWorks Animation. The show, which is set within the same timeline as 2015’s Jurassic World, is coming to Netflix sometime next year. Executive producers include Jurassic Park director Steven Spielberg and Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow and producer Frank Marshall. Release Date: June 22, 2015 That wide-eyed look of wonder you experienced when watching the first Jurassic Park is something that can only be experienced first hand. Of course, whenever a film like that is loved and successful, you are going to want to continue those adventures with sequels. Unfortunately, the Jurassic Park sequels never lived up to the first film. But just before it met its untimely extinction, it was revived, thanks in part to the reboot craze. Though Jurassic World was a box office smash, it wasn’t as loved by critics. In fact, it was widely panned. Now we are here with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the second chapter of this reboot. This time J.A. Bayona is at the helm using a script written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. But even with some new blood directing this, it isn’t nearly enough to get the film away from the fact that this franchise continues to have stupid people doing stupid things, over and over and over again.
