| ‘Let It Snow’ Trailer: Netflix Gets Into The Holiday Rom-Com Spirit
As soon as Halloween is over, we will be inundated with all sorts of cheesy holiday goodness. Of course, Hallmark has staked their claim with their holiday films, but they might want to make some room for Netflix, who will be releasing their own set of holiday films. The streaming giant has released the first trailer for Let It Snow starring Isabela Merced, Shameik Moore, Odeya Rush, Liv Hewson, Mitchell Hope, Kiernan Shipka, Jacob Batalon, and Joan Cusack. Based on the YA novel, the film will see a group find their friendships and love lives colliding thanks to a series of events. And come Christmas morning their lives will not be the same. | ‘Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina’: Netflix Releases Teaser For Dark Take On ‘Sabrina The Teenage Witch’
Netflix has released a teaser for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, a much darker take on the hit Nickelodeon television series Sabrina the Teenage Witch. The show stars Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men, The Legend of Korra) in the title role, and comes from the executive producers of Riverdale. It’s described as being closer in tone to Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist than the kid-friendly ’90s TV show it’s based on. | ‘One & Two’ Trailer From IFC Midnight
Going to the theater during the summer can become fairly overwhelming with the release of multiple superhero blockbusters. These powerhouse movies tend to take the spotlight away from the modest, character-driven films that grace the screens; however, it looks like IFC Midnight has managed to find a compelling and unique way to incorporate the use of superpowers into a small-scale, powerful family drama with One & Two — and it looks very promising.
