While you’re waiting for tonight’s Super Bowl to start, tune into the Hallmark Channel to watch Kitten Bowl II!

Hosted by Beth Stern, the second annual event will feature over 90 shelter kittens in a mock football game, complete with player stats, commentary, and celebrity guests.

Epic cuteness does not even begin to describe Kitten Bowl! The event is designed to bring awareness to the millions of shelter cats waiting for their forever home. All of today’s participating CAT-letes will be adopted out immediately following the games.

Hallmark Channel will be re-running Kitten Bowl II all day, so if you miss the first airing, you can still catch it later on!

This year’s kittens come from North Shore Animal League America, Last Hope Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation, and All About Cats Rescue and Adoption Center, so be sure to visit their sites and if you can, adopt a shelter animal. (If you can’t, consider sending a donation – every dollar helps!)
