Sons Of Anarchy Season 6 promo

If you’re depressed about the forthcoming end to the hit FX original series Sons of Anarchy, there’s still some possible future projects on the way that will help guide you through the end of the show.

For one, we’ve heard that there’s a possible prequel series in the works. This is not yet official, but it is a very real possibility. Now, added to that, is a video game…if you’re into video games of course.

Sons Of Anarchy Season 6 promo

Fans of the insanely popular AMC series Breaking Bad had to say goodbye recently when the show came to an end, but news of a spinoff series helped to ease the pain a little. AMC also gave the greenlight to a spinoff of The Walking Dead.

So with another big series, FX’s Sons of Anarchy, set to conclude after the season seven finale, it only makes sense to ask series creator and showrunner Kurt Sutter if any spinoff possibilities exist there. And the answer is yes.

Continue reading to see what Sutter had to say.

Like Frank Darabont Before Him, ‘The Walking Dead’ Showrunner Glen Mazzara Was Fired … But Why?

The Walking Dead

Fans were shocked when they found out that the departure of Frank Darabont after the wildly successful first season of AMC’s The Walking Dead was in fact a firing. People weren’t thrilled, and the cast was evidently bothered by the situation, with rumors swirling of threats by the network that any one of them could easily be killed off on this particular show if they spoke up in support of Darabont and against AMC.

Judging by how good the show has been since then, taking a path more faithful to the ultra-popular source comic series by Robert Kirkman, it’s debatable whether or not removing Darabont was ultimately a good move or not. Most of us will likely never know how differently things played out compared to however they may have been planned earlier.

But then came word that Glen Mazzara—the man who stepped into the role of showrunner after the firing of Darabont—was stepping down from his position in an eerily similar fashion to Darabont’s departure, instantly emitting a distinctly fishy odor. Now comes word, as many of us had already assumed, that Mazzara too was fired. But why was he fired? New information may hold the answer.

Sons of Anarchy S2, Eps 6-8
Created by Kurt Sutter
Starring Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, Kim Coates, Mark Boone Junior, Maggie Siff and Ron Perlman
Now airing on FX

SPOILERS: This is not to be read until after you’ve seen the 10/28 episode. But if you haven’t watched this show, I have to ask what the hell you’re doing here?

The story so far”¦

The Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club-Redwood Original (or SAMCRO) rules over the town of Charming, California with a hard but benevolent fist, keeping huge corporate development out of the town, gaining even the respect of the town sheriff. They finance their activities by running guns. Naturally, this runs afoul of the ATF.

The ATF troubles loom behind them (particularly Agent Stahl, played by Ally Walker), but now they’re caught up with the threat that white separatist Ethan Zobelle (Adam Arkin) and his crew pose. They start off the pissing match between them and the Sons by having his XO (Henry Rollins) rape the club matriarch Gemma (Katey Sagal), but Gemma, being made of equal parts piss and ice water, refuses to tell her husband and club president Clay (Ron Perlman), for to do so would destroy the club in a fire of rage.
