Legit is a new comedy series starring Jim Jefferies as a ne’er-do-well Australian comedian named “Jim” living in LA and his somewhat backasswards attempt at a more legitimate lifestyle. Helping him in this endeavor are his best buddy “Steve” (Dan Bakkedahl) and Steve’s brother “Billy” (DJ Qualls, (The New Guy, Road Trip). Jim is a potty mouth, Steve’s a bit of a drip, and Billy is paralyzed. Naturally, hilarity ensues.

Co-created by Jefferies, who happens to be an Australian comedian living in Los Angeles in real life, and producer Peter O’ Fallon (Pushing Daisies, The Unusuals), Legit joins FX’s boundary-pushing lineup that already includes hit shows such as Louie, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and American Horror Story, to name but a few.
