Do NOT continue if you haven’t watched The Last Man On Earth 1.13 “Screw The Moon” yet, because there are spoilers. The first week, there was just Phil (Will Forte) and then Carol (Kristen Schaal). The second and third week brought us Melissa (January Jones). The fourth week had Todd (Mel Rodriguez) jump in the mix. Then we got a week off from new people. Finally, we met Mary Steenburgen and Cleopatra Coleman. And last but not least, new Phil Miller (Boris Kodjoe) shows up. Does anyone show up this time?

The Last Man On Earth
Season 1 Episode 12: “The Tandyman Can”
Created by Will Forte, Phil Lord, and Christopher Miller
Starring Will Forte, January Jones, Kristen Schaal, Mel Rodriguez, Cleopatra Coleman, Mary Steenburgen, Boris Kodjoe
FOX
Air Date: Sunday, April 26th, 2015, 9:30pm Let’s do a brief recap of last week’s episode before we get to The Last Man On Earth 1.12 “The Tandyman Can” review. And then there were seven. A new man enters the mix, despite Phil’s (Will Forte) efforts to prevent this. Double-booked dates with both Erica and Gail, he runs to his “Alive In Tucson” billboard to spray “Moved To Tampa” over it. His ladder falls and he is stranded there, burnt by the Arizona sun. Carol (Kristen Schaal) is about to organize a search party, when Phil Miller shows up. Not Will Forte’s Phil Miller, but Boris Kodjoe‘s Phil Miller (also his name), who walks over carrying their Phil. Hubba hubba! Since there is this incredible coincidence of two exact same names, the suggestion is for the Phils to go by their middle names. The first Phil’s middle name is Tandy. The second Phil has no middle name. So now there is incredibly handsome Phil… and Tandy.

The Last Man on Earth
Season 1 Episode 11: “Moved to Tampa”
Directed by Jason Woliner
Written by Erik Durbin
Created by Will Forte, Phil Lord, and Christopher Miller
Starring Will Forte, January Jones, Kristen Schaal, Mel Rodriguez, Cleopatra Coleman, Mary Steenburgen
FOX
Air Date: Sunday, April 19th, 2015, 9:30pm On last week’s Last Man on Earth 1.10, two women in the beautiful forms of Cleopatra Coleman and Mary Steenburgen, appeared to Phil (Will Forte) and he tried to hide them from the group. Or hide the group from them – whichever. He was on the brink of a sex party, when of course the two groups ran into each other. Now, since Phil lied so he could go be a bad husband, it turned into an “everybody hates Phil” party, Phil’s least favorite kind of party. I did feel bad for Carol (Kristen Schaal) though. She was very loyal and always saw the best in him. She presented him with a very “Carol” divorce decree.

Air Date: Sunday, April 12th, 2015, 9:00pm Congratulations to The Last Man On Earth returning for Season 2! Let’s see what Phil Miller (Will Forte) and the gang have been up to, before we get into the review for this week’s doubleheader, 1.9 “The Do-Over” and 1.10 “Pranks For Nothing.” Two weeks ago, during The Last Man On Earth’s 1.7 “She Drives Me Crazy” and 1.8 “Mooovin’In,” Phil had made some progress with Melissa (January Jones) by just being honest. I don’t know why he cannot get this through his thick skull. This made him even more jealous of Todd (Mel Rodriguez). He just did not understand how someone could move past outer beauty to the inner beauty. The foursome create some sort of government complete with grievance board. And… Phil found a real live cow! Although Phil really wanted burgers and steaks, he was outvoted in favor of fresh milk and dairy products. On top of everything else, Carol (Kristen Schaal) really wants them to live together. The Last Man On Earth 1.9 “The Do-Over” & 1.10 “Pranks For Nothing” review: “Aw Phil. Sleep apnea is a part of who I am. Just like dandruff and aggressive night toots are a part of who you are.” That right there is really what marriage is all about. Carol has that correct. But Phil doesn’t seem to understand. As is obvious in the title, Phil wants a do-over and asks God for one. God seems to listen by delivering… Spoilers if you have not seen the episode yet! Do not continue reading if that is the case!
