Recently the currently untitled next James Bond film, known for now as Bond 25, took a huge blow in production as director Danny Boyle and the Bond production team split due to creative differences. Though there are a few rumors floating around about the reasons – which include not being able to agree on a cast – it’s not clear what happened between the two. Now there is a much bigger issue. MGM has released the first official trailer for Creed II, a sequel to the hit 2015 Rocky spinoff. The movie once again stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed, the son of Rocky Balboa’s (Sylvester Stallone) friend and former opponent Apollo Creed. | Danny Boyle Confirms He’s Directing 25th James Bond Film
It’s been a long and exhaustive search, but Bond 25 has finally found its director. Danny Boyle, director of films like Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire, and 127 Hours, will helm the film. | MGM and Eon Set Their Sights On Danny Boyle To Direct ‘Bond 25’
Now that Christopher Nolan has taken himself out of the running to direct Bond 25, MGM and Eon are looking to find a director. There was a shortlist running around last year that speculated three new directors: Denis Villeneuve, David Mackenzie, and Yann Demange were all being considered.
