Just one week after Netflix canceled Iron Fist, and a few short days after they said their Marvel shows would continue to stream on their service, comes word that they are also canceling Luke Cage.

Mike Coulter played the title character. This move came as a surprise to showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker. More on the report, below.

Netflix has revealed the first trailer for Extinction, starring Michael Pena as a father who has vivid dreams of an alien invasion when in actuality, they are visions of the future.

We are just hours away from the premiere of Netflix’s The Defenders, the Marvel superhero ensemble of the streaming service. In the four years since the collaboration started, we’ve seen Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) get their own series.

And while we’ve known that this moment was going to arrive, the evil force that will bring our heroes together still remains a mystery.
