The last season of Vikings was short and sweet, with lots of heartbreaking death, fierce and gory battles, and religious mixed with political moves. Two fan faves, Athelstan and Siggy (George Blagden and Jessalyn Gilsig) died – Siggy, while saving Ragnar’s children from drowning, and Athelstan, murdered by Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard). Porunn (Gaia Weiss) becomes a shieldmaiden, marries Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig), has a baby, gets severely scarred and then wants to be away from Bjorn. The Vikings attacks Paris, and have a surprising victory at the end, although Ragnar is severely injured. they leave Rollo there, who is offered Princess Gisla (Morgane Polanski) and riches if he joins Frankia. He does.
Spoilers ahead! Beware!

‘Vikings’ Interview With Maude Hirst
Maude Hirst’s Helga certainly doesn’t have it easy on The History Channel’s hit show, Vikings. She’s married to the quirkiest viking of all, Floki (Gustaf SkarsgÃ¥rd), whose idealistic theology spurred him to kill Ragnar’s beloved friend Athelstan (George Blagden). They had a cute little family thing going in Kattegat; Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) trusted Floki, especially after double-crossing King Horik (Donal Logue) for him in season 2. But when Ragnar kept turning to Athelstan, and the priest was born again, Floki could not take it. He felt it was being disloyal to the real gods in Valhalla.
Geeks of Doom got invited to participate in a roundtable telephone interview, where Hirst provided insight to her character and her relationship with her off-the-rails hubby.
Check out the interview with Maude Hirst below.

Valentine’s Day 2016: Happy V-Day From ‘Vikings’ Bjorn!
Bjorn Ironside (Alexander Ludwig) on Vikings has not had a ton of experience with women. Not like his dad, Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) or uncle Rollo (Clive Standen). But this heir to the kingdom certainly has proven his romantic skills when wooing his wife Porunn (Gaia Weiss). And now that she wants him to be free because of a silly scar, he will soon be romancing around town (Kattegat). The History Channel has released some Bjorn-isms for Valentines Day.
Check out Bjorn lines in the video below.
