| ‘Vikings’ Sequel Series ‘Valhalla’ Announced
Back in 2015 our own Olympus Athens wrote a joke article about a spinoff to the hit History Channel series Vikings titled Valhalla. As it turns out, that harmless April Fools’ Day gag was somewhat prophetic. A new Vikings spinoff/sequel series from original creator Michael Hirst and MGM Television has been announced titled Vikings: Valhalla, which will be coming to Netflix. Air Date: Wednesday, January 10th, 2018, 8:00pm Warning! Spoilers below for last night’s episode of Vikings! The last episode of Vikings left Kattegat on the brink of war. With the moon comes Ivar (Alex Høgh) and King Harald (Peter Franzén) and Bishop Headmund (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), whose relationship with Ivar is completely complicated. Ivar seemed to look for another father in the Bishop, who promised no lies as that is the will of his god. Alfred (Ferdia Walsh-Peelo) journeyed to find Athelstan’s past, and at the end of the episode said The Lord’s Prayer in unison with his late father. Astrid (Josefin Asplund) revealed she was pregnant. Harald was delighted, but she was sad, as the baby has a few possible fathers. Torvi (Georgia Hirst) freed Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) from fidelity. Floki (Gustaf SkarsgÃ¥rd) and his followers found the land, but there was still dissent. Margrethe (Ida Nielsen) urged Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) to take the throne. Spoilers below.

| SDCC 2017: Watch the ‘Vikings’ Season 5 Comic-Con Trailer – Premiere Date Revealed!
Whoa!!! The Vikings Season 5 trailer was dropped at San Diego Comic-Con yesterday and to no one’s surprise, it looks epic! Last season, which saw the death of protagonist, Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel), and the rise of his sons, Bjorn, Ivar, Ubbe, Hvitserk, and Sigurd (Alexander Ludwig, Alex Høgh Andersen, Jordan Patrick Smith, Marco Ilsø, David Lindström), and ended with Ivar killing Sigurd. It was squashed and Egil was roasted (not roasted haha, roasted crispy) by Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick), until he gave up Harald. Torvi (Georgia Hirst) died during the battle. Harald (Peter Franzén) killed the husband of his princess, and his brother killed herin the middle of sex (Harald, not his brother). Ivar (Alex Høgh Andersen) came up with a very clever plan to defeat the English, and it seemed to be working. Aethelwulf’s (Moe Dunford) men got turned every which way and were picked off by crazy vikings.
