‘Paranormal Activity’ Gets A Japanese Sequel With ‘Tokyo Night’

Paranormal Activity: Tokyo NightIcon Home Entertainment has announced the upcoming DVD release of Paranormal Activity: Tokyo Night, the officially sanctioned Japanese sequel to 2009’s docu-horror Paranormal Activity.

This direct-to-DVD sequel to Oren Peli’s horror hit will be released in the UK on March 7, 2011.

Typically, its been U.S. filmmakers who adapt Japanese horror films for American audiences, like what was done with The Ring and The Grudge, but for Paranormal Activity: Tokyo Night, Japanese director Toshikazu Nagae has done the reverse, with input from the original U.S. producers.

And this time, there’s TWO bedrooms and apparently, twice the fear!
