Mr. Plinkett, the sardonic, slow-speaking (dude sounds creepily like Buffalo Bill) video reviewer for Red Letter Media, has returned with another of his cuttingly funny and methodical dissections of another blockbuster from recent years.

In the past, he’s ripped movies like Star Wars – Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, Avatar, and the 2009 Star Trek with joyous gusto. This time around he turns the tables on Steven Spielberg and George LucasIndiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the fourth go-around for filmdom’s favorite fedora-sporting archaeologist/adventurer and a celluloid corpse that has been kicked plenty enough over the years.

If you haven’t seen it, you may be wondering who would be able to speak at length about that movie for over an hour. Mostly (almost entirely) it picks apart what’s wrong with the film in intricate detail, but adds enough production value and humor to make it well worth your time.

Recently, that same guy posted a 20-minute review of Avatar. And whether you agree with his assessment of the film or not, there are some interesting points made.
