Han Solo and Boba Fett

Yesterday we reported that Disney and Lucasfilm were ramping up their long-term grand plans for Star Wars with the announcement that they would be developing a series of movies set apart from Episode VII and on that would focus on individual characters from the Star Wars universe, including a possible Yoda movie.

Entertainment Weekly today broke an exclusive addendum to that revelation with the news that both Han Solo, the roguish but lovable space smuggler that helped make Harrison Ford a star in the original Star Wars movies, and Boba Fett, the masked intergalactic bounty hunter who had little screen time in the original trilogy but has since become a huge fan favorite character, might also be headlining their own standalone movies.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith Image

Before all of this madness with Disney purchasing Lucasfilm and announcing brand new Star Wars movies began, we were in the midst of getting George Lucas‘s prequel trilogy re-released into theaters with a 3D makeover.

The Phantom Menace had already returned to theaters last February to show off its third dimension, adding $43 million domestically and $59 million overseas to its overall box office take, and release dates were set for Attack of the Clones (September 20, 2013) and Revenge of the Sith (October 11, 2013).

Now those dates have been vacated.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith Image

Considered very recently to be the last Star Wars movie we’d ever see (until that little Disney transaction occurred, of course), Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith was the third and final film in George Lucas’s prequel trilogy.

For as much hate as the prequel movies get, most fanboy and girls would likely agree that Episode III was by far the best of the trio, hitting on some dark notes that created some redeeming qualities for the trilogy. Still, one wouldn’t think that opinions of that film would rise much higher than that.

Enter Camille Paglia, a known and noted art critic who has a new book coming out called Glittering Images. In this book, Paglia makes quite the stunning statement: Revenge of the Sith is the greatest work of art in the past thirty years, of all mediums.

Watch Now: The Just Say ‘NO’ Edition of ‘Star Wars’

Star Wars NO

Here’s a good one for a laugh. There’s been a whole bunch of awesome Star Wars humor videos on the web, most of them using excerpts from the films and re-edited by fans. This one is of “NO” exception, as it features every single time the word “no” is mentioned in all six movies. It’s worth a look, so check it out at the bottom of the post.

Although the obvious classic (and/or groan-worthy) NO’s are featured in the video, you’ll be surprised how much the word is actually used in the movies. It may probably fuel the George Lucas Haters’ vocal detestation of his writing, but haters gonna hate!

The Star Wars NO video was edited by Chris Haynes, and uploaded to YouTube by HughesnBeuks.

Anyway, take a look, and leave your thoughts in a comment below.
