
It’s time for Renee Zellweger to start chowing down again, as a third Bridget Jones movie is officially in the works.
The actress notoriously plumped up to play the title character in 2001’s Bridget Jones’s Diary, then after losing the weight, fattened herself up even more for the 2004 sequel, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. Now, EW’s Inside Movies has the scoop that Working Title Films, the production company behind the previous movies, are going ahead with a third Bridget Jones film.
The first two films were based on respective best-selling novels by Helen Fielding, who has yet to complete a third Bridget Jones book, though there’s no word whether the new film would even be based on a new book.
