| E3 2019: Single-Player ‘Star Wars’ Game ‘Jedi: Fallen Order’ Gets A 14-Minute Gameplay Demo |
 |

In April a reveal trailer was released for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which publisher Electronic Arts promised would be the single-player game fans have been begging for since EA scored a deal with Disney giving them the exclusive rights to develop Star Wars games back in 2013. It’s been over six years since that deal was signed, and only multiplayer shooters Battlefront and Battlefront II, as well as a mobile game, have been released. With this game EA was finally promising no multiplayer and no loot boxes, just a single-player adventure to enjoy. At the time it was assumed that we might see more when E3 2019 rolled around. And with the gaming convention kicking off this weekend, EA did just that by holding their EA Play event. During the presentation the first gameplay from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which is developed by Respawn Entertainment, was unveiled. The video runs nearly 14 minutes long, and you can find it below along with more info on the game.

| ‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’: EA Finally Unveils Story-Driven, Single-Player ‘Star Wars’ Game With New Trailer |
 |

It’s been nearly six years now since Disney signed an exclusive deal with Electronic Arts to handle all Star Wars video games. That deal has not gone very well, to say the least. It’s actually been kind of a shitshow. In those six years, only three games have been released—Battlefront, Battlefront II, and a mobile game—despite having multiple teams working on various projects. Fans have been begging for a good single-player Star Wars game, but EA kept focusing on the money-making multiplayer. They did, to be fair, add a single-player campaign to Battlefront II after outrage over there not being one in the first game. But it was primarily a multiplayer game, and we still haven’t gotten that story-driven, single-player game we’ve been craving. But now there’s a new hope. Today, a reveal trailer was released for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a story-driven single-player action game which EA promises will have no microtransactions or loot boxes. You can check it out below.

| E3 2016: First Look At New ‘Star Wars’ Games |
 |

Instead of focusing on one specific Star Wars game such as Star Wars Battlefront, EA took the opportunity to preview all of the games they’re working on for the franchise, which is many from a bunch of different developers including Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment, who’s working on a third-person title, BioWare, DICE, and more. As far as actually showing the games, there’s not a whole lot of that. It’s more of a behind the scenes video talking with many of the people who are working on these highly anticipated Star Wars games. But there is one particular game that is briefly shown that will excite eager fans. That would be the game being worked on by Dead Space developer Visceral Games, led by former top Naughty Dog talent Amy Hennig—who was a writer and creative director on their Uncharted series and joined Visceral back in April of 2014—with the help of Lucasfilm VP and Executive Creative Director Doug Chiang. It’s not much at all, and it is early footage, but you can see that brief first gameplay peek and more on the various Star Wars games being worked on in the video below.

| E3 2016: ‘Titanfall 2’ Trailer Confirms Single Player Campaign
One of the biggest problems people had with Titanfall was that it didn’t have a single-player campaign, only multiplayer, and still cost the same as full-price game—a problem that has persisted in gaming lately. But it appears a lesson was learned. Electronic Arts is technically not taking part in E3 2016, hosting their own separate event called EA Play, but with the convention beginning today anyway, it’s easier to simply bunch them in with all our E3 coverage this week. As part of their event, Titanfall 2 is being presented and trailers have been released that confirm there will be a single-player campaign this time around. You can see the trailers below.
