The Red Devil broke into Kappa, and left a wake of bodies, notably “Predatory Lez” Sam (Jeanna Han). After chasing Kappa’s new President Zayday (Keke Palmer) and Queen B, Chanel (Emma Roberts) down into the depths of the sorority, the Devil was unable to deliver the final axe blow to either. We know that the brains behind the Devil belong to Gigi (Nasim Pedrad) who happens to be dating good girl Grace’s (Skyler Samuels) dad Wes (Oliver Hudson). All the while there are suspects aplenty. Wes is convinced Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) is responsible, while the multiple Chanels all give off suspect vibes, especially complete psycho Hester… Chanel #6 (Lea Michele). Let’s get to tonight’s episode”¦ remember; In Chad Radwell we trust! Spoilers below.

Air Date: Tuesday, October 20th, 2015, 9pm If you believe any press is good press, then this was a great couple of days for FOX and horror shows. After years of media dormancy, the PTC (Parent Television Council) publicly decried FX’s American Horror Story AND FOX’s Scream Queens as two of the sickest shows in TV history for their high levels of sex and violence… sometimes simultaneously. While they were more disgusted with AHS, it is on late, and on cable. Scream Queens, on the other hand, is on network TV and airs at 7pm in midwestern areas. So as I’ve been telling you, if you like bloody good fun, Scream Queens is pissing off the right people! You gotta hand it to Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy, who created BOTH shows. Spoilers below for Scream Queens.

Air Date: Tuesday, October 13th, 2015, 9pm Last week on Scream Queens Zayday (Keke Palmer) was kidnapped by the Red Devil and we were given a peek at who might be the baby born in a bloody tub during the Kappa party 20 years earlier. Zayday had intentions on running for Kappa president much to chagrin of Chanel (Emma Roberts). In response, Chanel and her Chanels have planned the biggest Halloween gala ever, a pumpkin patch to fight the dreaded Black Hairy Tongue disease (yep), which we feature both a Shining-style lawn maze and the Chanels dressed as the wives of assassinated presidents. Before any of this can take place though, Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) holds court at Kappa House to unveil some terrible news; she’s closing the beaches… sorry, campus, I meant campus. The scene riffs on Jaws with the great Chad Radwell (Glen Powell) doing his best Quint impression. Ok, maybe Quint plus John Belushi’s Bluto. “As our great 60th President John Kennedy Jr. said, “˜the only thing we have to fear is fear itself'” Spoilers below.

Air Date: Tuesday, October 6th, 2015, 9pm Over its first two weeks, I’d challenge you find a show as flamboyantly off the wall as Scream Queens. Combining the bloodshed of an 80s slasher horror film with the teenage drama of Glee, Scream Queens and its cast throw themselves into the craziness with frenzied rigor, chewing the scenery as it comes. There are the Chanels of Kappa House, led by Emma Roberts who embraces every “bitch queen” cliche and runs with them; the quickly sure of herself Chanel # 5 (Abigail Breslin) and Charles Manson’s illegitimate love child, Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd). Then there is Dean Cathy Munsch, the original Scream Queen herself (Jamie Lee Curtis), who has decided to move into the Kappa House to prevent the Red Devil from continuing to slaughter sorority sisters. And of course… there is Chad Radwell (Glen Powell), the coolest most dreamiest guy on campus who has had his way with the Kappa girls. He is what girls want and guys want to be. And his name is CHAD RADWELL!!! C’mon! Spoilers below.

Air Date: Tuesday, September 29th, 2015, 8pm Last week Scream Queens sliced, diced, and mowed into TV screens all over the country. The new horror comedy series created by the combined minds that gave us Glee and American Horror Story, is a wonderful combo of 80s slasher, and college sex comedy. 20 years earlier, a Kappa sister died after having a bathtub baby during a sorority bash. So obviously, we are looking for who might be that now 20-year old baby, and thus our likely murder suspect. We met the Chanels of Kappa House, led by Chanel #1, Emma Roberts, who must’ve watched Heathers and Mean Girls, and taken good notes on how to be a Queen B. Her arch nemesis is Dean Munsch, the incomparable Jamie Lee Curtis, who is on a mission to reign in Kappa House, and her plan is open admission to the sorority, and anyone who wants to join. You could totally see the elements of Glee here, as we welcome some truly “interesting” and overtly stereotypical girls. There’s a black girl, an angry lesbian, a nerd with a back brace, a deaf girl and oh yeah, the typically gorgeous, but oh so plain lead girl, Grace (Skyler Samuels), whose dead mom was a Kappa. So what’s the “scream” in Scream Queens??? Well, it turns out someone wearing the Wallace University Red Devil mascot costume just happens to be going around and murdering Kappas, with everything from a knife to a lawnmower. And with the second episode entitled “Chainsaw”, well… it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what’s about to happen. Spoilers ahead!
