I know I am jumping on this a little early but it just must be talked about! Dark Horse is publishing a Super Mario Encyclopedia and it covers all of the games that have entertained us for more than three decades! This bad boy is going to be a massive hardcover that every fan will want! As information drops, we will definitely alert you to anything we find out. I know a few people who are going to be even more excited than I am. I’m looking at you Chad and Jonah!

In addition to announcing Metroid Prime 4 and some other things, Nintendo shared a new trailer for the upcoming Mario game, titled Super Mario Odyssey.

Nintendo has also doubled up on the good news for Super Mario game fans, also sharing a release date for the new game to circle on those calendars. Continue below to read a little more about Super Mario Odyssey and give the trailer a watch.

When it comes to kitchen gadgets, usually we buy them because they make something annoying much easier. Or claim to, anyway. But sometimes one comes along that might not be essential in your kitchen, but is a must-own anyway.

That’s where the Ravanello comes into the picture. This little tool isn’t necessarily a life-changer, but what it does do geeks everywhere will without question throw their hard earned coin at to own. The Ravanello takes your basic everyday radish, and transforms it into a mushroom. No, not an actual mushroom. That would be incredible, and cost a hell of a lot more. But it does make it look like a mushroom—more specifically, one of those oh so familiar mushrooms from the Super Mario video game series and its spinoffs.

Usually when Mario dies during a play session of one of the older Super Mario Bros. games, he simply bounces up in the air—quite strangely, I might add; what kinda wacky physics are going on in that world?—and then falls through the bottom of our TV screens. We then move on to our next life or start over again, unless of course you know about that little trick.

But what if there were more to Mario dying than we ever knew about? A new video released by YouTube channel Nukazooka titled “Super Mario: Underworld” offers a peek at what it might be like for a Mario when they die. And it is not pleasant.
