
If you were looking forward to finally playing The Elder Scrolls Online on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 when it was scheduled to be released next month, or of you were looking forward to the first-person zombie game Dying Light, there’s a bit of bad news.
In a statement released today, it has been revealed that the Elder Scrolls Online will not be up to the standards set by developer ZeniMax Online Studios and publisher Bethesda Softworks in time, and it could take up to six months to get the wrinkles ironed out. This is no big shock considering many big games get delayed in order to ensure the quality is there, and this particular game is extra large. Not to mention the fact that MMORPGs running on consoles is still a new thing being figured out.
But still, this is a big deal just a month before launch when many people have already pre-ordered their copy of the game. For this, a special offer has also been announced to try to make up for the inconvenience. You can read the full statement, including what the special offer is, below.
